To combat this era of misinformation, the Columbia Journalism Review created a newsstand filled with magazines and newspapers featuring cover stories from actual examples of fake news circulating social media. Inside each magazine was information on how to better detect misinformation. This cover was painted digitally to act as part of the newsstand.
